We have had another successful rhubarb harvest this year, with a proportion supplied to the fresh market as well as a large volume processed for food manufacturers. The rhubarb stems are cut and graded to a ½” less than 1” size and then frozen, which is perfect for a rhubarb crumble! The team on the farm have been working hard; harvesting as well as planting up new plantations of rhubarb for future productions. This includes different varieties; Stockbridge Arrow, Livingstone and Goliath, some of which may help extend our harvest season for the future.
