On Saturday we held a charity football match, BBQ and raffle in aid of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice, a charity providing care and support to life-threatened children and their families across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. Our home team International Farm Camp FC played Barclays FC, which proved to be a great success with a brilliant turnout of support. Not only did we win 16-5, but more importantly raised a fantastic £576.68, which Tim Place has very kindly agreed to double! Barclays Bank has also made a £750 donation, bringing the grand total to £1903 for EACH. A big thank you and congratulations to those who donated, took part and cheered on, an enjoyable day was had by all and for a worthy cause.
