Last Friday, Place UK spent the day filming for the “Eat Well for Less” programme which will be broadcast in the Autumn on BBC 1. The programme will be presented by Chris Bavin, an award winning Green Grocer, who is shown in the photo along with Place UK’s Operations Director, Andy Shepherdson, a hitherto unknown TV talent. The filming captured the whole process at Place UK from picking, to freezing in our factory. The complete process takes place on the same site in Tunstead, Norfolk. This was a very enjoyable experience and a great opportunity for Place UK. We will publish here when the programme has been scheduled for broadcast, this will give our customers and the general public a greater insight into how we produce good quality products – Naturally.
